The Explorer is meant to be a platform for multiple authors to explore the issues of their choosing that they believe are affecting or will affect our world. Understanding how easily biases can cloud our vision, we seek to host a variety of authors from all sorts of different political, philosophical and religious leanings.

While we will often invite writers who we think have interesting viewpoints, we by no means are all-knowing or perfect. We can’t know about everyone’s ideas, which is why we encourage anyone who’s interested to submit manuscripts of their authorship for consideration and publication.

Manuscripts must be of your own authorship, they don’t need to be new work, and they may be old work you’ve already published that has been adapted to meet our guidelines so long as you have the publisher’s permission to reproduce your work.

We assume that all manuscripts submitted will not be published simultaneously on other sites or publications, if you are planning on publishing elsewhere, we ask that you let us know in your submission.

Our guidelines are the following:

  • Submitted through e-mail to the following address: editor.theexplorer@gmail.com

  • We attach short bios about the authors in each article, therefore, in your email please provide the following details about yourself:

    • Full name;

    • Current and/or previous education (optional);

    • Current and/or previous employment (optional);

  • Articles are between 1,000-2,000 words, however this is not written in stone and may vary if you wish;

  • Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word .docx format, attached to your e-mail;

We will go over your submission and contact you regarding any questions we may have. If you have any questions about the submission process, don’t hesitate to contact us at any of the following e-mail addresses:

Thank you for your interest in The Explorer!
